PFA Celebrates Sold-Out Inaugural Pickleball Cup in São Paulo, Brazil

São Paulo, Brazil – The Pickleball Federation of the Americas (PFA), in collaboration with the Brazilian Pickleball Confederation, is proud to announce the overwhelming success of the inaugural Pickleball Cup, held September 13-15, 2024, at the sold-out SESI Vila Leopoldina in São Paulo. This historic event brought together pickleball players, fans, and leaders from across Latin America, solidifying the sport’s growing popularity in the region.

A Celebration of Talent and Growth

The Pickleball Cup showcased the exceptional talent emerging across South America in thrilling matches that energized spectators and players alike. Gary Schwartz, CEO and Chair of the PFA, attended the event and personally handed out prizes to the tournament’s top performers.

“This sold-out event is a testament to the incredible growth of pickleball in South America,” said Schwartz. “We are proud to have partnered with the Brazilian Pickleball Confederation and to have witnessed such remarkable skill and sportsmanship.
