🧑🤝🧑 Format
- Step 1: Round-Robin
- Step 2: Single-Elimination
- Scoring: Side-out scoring — 1 game to 15, win by 2 (Beginners and Kids: 1 game to 11)
- Finals: Best-of-3 games to 11, win by 2 (Beginners and Kids: 1 game to 15)
🧑🤝🧑 Open Tournament Regulations

- Under 18: Parental permission required
- Substitutions allowed up to 60 minutes before match start
- Trophies or medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
- 🥈 Daily Medal Count: Updated Olympic-style tally to track TEAM and OPEN performance
📌 General Guidelines (All OPEN Participants)
- Arrive 45 minutes before your match
- Deflected balls due to court defects are valid
- No alcohol during active tournament play
- Protective eyewear and court shoes are recommended
- Players are responsible for their own travel, lodging, and meals
- Refunds available within 7 days of registration (before event)
- Non-Mexican players must check visa/passport requirements
📌 Term of Responsibility
By registering, players accept full responsibility for their health and participation. PFA is not liable for injuries or travel-related costs.
📌 Image & Audio Release
Participants authorize PFA and its sponsors to use their image and voice in all marketing, across all media, indefinitely, with no compensation.
📌 Rain and Force Majeure
- Play will be paused for 1 hour while courts are assessed
- If unplayable, updates will be shared with at least a 2-hour notice
- PFA may adjust match formats, point totals, or cancel matches for the day
- The schedule may be extended to ensure tournament completion
📌 Registration
- Register via the UTR Sports App
- Use your real name and country of birth
- Enter a valid email and phone number (with country code)
Entry Fee & Divisions
- Maximum of 3 divisions per player (e.g., Men/Women, Mixed, Age)
- Players cannot register in both Intermediate and Advanced
- Entry Fee: $75 + $6 for each division
- Each division includes round-robin play, followed by playoffs — everyone plays!
Juniors Division
The Juniors Division is Co-Ed. Boys and girls can compete together in any combination (e.g., 2 boys & 2 girls, or 4 girls, etc.). Open to players aged 12–17 of all skill levels.
A clinic & evaluation session will be held on the evening of Day 1 (April 6th). This session helps assess skill levels to ensure proper placement and fair competition. Attendance is strongly encouraged.
